Exstent Limited was founded in 2002 to develop devices that manage aortic dilation and minimise the risk of aortic dissection without the need for aortic root replacement and subsequent lifelong anticoagulant therapy.
In doing this, the company aims to make a difference to the lives of people with aortic dilation. Our goal is to allow patients to live free from worry, without need for anticoagulant therapy and reduce the risk of requiring further surgery.
Exstent Limited was founded by Tal Golesworthy. Tal was the inventor of the ExoVasc® PEARS. In 2004, he was also the first person to have the device implanted.
