Loeys-Dietz syndrome

Loeys-Dietz syndrome is an inherited connective tissue disorder affecting the skeleton, eyes and cardio-vascular system. It shares much in common with Marfan syndrome but typically presents with vascular tissues that are even more fragile the those seen in Marfan syndrome.

We develop medical devices that manage aortic dilation and minimise the risk of aortic dissection.
