Aortic rupture

An aortic rupture is a situation involving the mechanical failure of the aortic wall, i.e. the intima, media and adventitia, resulting in massive haemorrhage and usually death.

We develop medical devices that manage aortic dilation and minimise the risk of aortic dissection.
