At the London Bridge Hospital today, the 100th patient to receive the ExoVasc support was operated on successfully and now has their personalised external aortic root support in place to prevent further dilatation of their ascending aorta. Commenting on this milestone, Peter Gibson – CEO of Exstent Ltd – said: “It is encouraging now to see more centres adopting this new approach to the management of aortic dilatation.  Patients have a right to be informed on all the options available in the surgical management of their condition, and for most of those aware of the PEARS approach this is their preferred option.”
