On 7 February 2014, Tal Golesworthy spoke at the Patient Innovation Launch Event at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon, Portugal. The title of his presentation was The man who fixed his own heart.
The event launched the Patient Innovation Platform, an online and social network (international, multilingual and non-profit) which aims to facilitate the sharing of innovative solutions developed by patients or caregivers of any disease and is the result of research led by Católica-Lisbon.
